Versions 4.4.7 & 4.4.8 Released!

At Analytics SEO we are committed to updating the software and adding value for all of our users free of charge whenever we can and this month is no different! On average our development cycles lead to releases every two weeks so you can always be assured the software will be extremely stable with new features being added all the time.

Our engineering team have been working on a burst of minor updates including the latest two 4.4.7 and 4.4.8. Version 4.4.7 was released last week and version 4.4.8 we are expecting to release this week.

Many of the minor updates have focused on performance enhancements and minor features to facilitate the management of large volumes of SEO campaigns, such as being able to set up hundreds of automated reports in just a few minutes. We have had great feedback so far and its a great example of how we take customer feedback very seriously and let the feature requests feed straight into our product roadmap.

This month our engineering team have also been working on a number of major projects including phase one of our social media, project management and link building projects. We are hoping to release some of the early features in the very near future, maybe even in the next release so keep your eyes peeled!

Version 4.4.7

Version 4.4.7 focused on minor enhancements including some major improvements to the way the platform handles permissions and tweaks to make our keyword ranking data even better.

Our internal technology automatically checks the data integrity of our keyword ranking results and re-checks the results if our system feels their could be an erroneous result. This update has improved this process (which is actually one of my favourite features!) even further and we are now also able to display additional images in our SERP screenshots.

Here is a full list of changes:

  • Access checker & permissions.
  • Reseller enhancements.
  • Keyword Research performance improvements.
  • Changes to Google Analytics data imports.
  • Improved re-checking of keyword rankings.
  • Keyword SERPs to include graphics.
  • Fixes to competitor keyword rankings.

´╗┐Version 4.4.8

The most noticeable changes in the this release relate to our shiny new PDF reports and enhancements to our keyword research tools, which now include the option to utilise CTR data.

Personally my favourite reports are the PowerPoint exports, as they allow you to annotate and tweak pages. They are also fantastic for client teleconferences and meetings.

However, the PDF reports are also a really popular feature and now with our new enhancements they now have a cleaner and crisper appearance, with additional language support.

Why not dive into the software and give the new PDF reports a try!

Here is a quick overview of our new keyword research features. Keywords, search volumes and competition can now be manually added. The platform will automatically update your CTR data for your sites every 30 days. To reflect these changes there have been some updates to the way that columns have been labelled and the creation of the new ones to support the changes.

This data will be really useful to further drive insights into your data and spot pages that are not performing as well as expected. This will also be valuable to help further estimate search volume data, which is never an exact science.

Here is a full list of version 4.4.8 changes:

  • PPTs have been updated to handle more rows on certain tables.
  • PPTs have been updated to handle task statuses with bullet points.
  • Table column alignment, including right aligned numbers and left aligned text to make the reports easier to read.
  • Hebrew URL encoding support for brand filtering.
  • Keyword research page with new button styling and pop-up styling.
  • New keyword research CTR features
  • Manual upload of keywords, competition and search volumes in keyword research tools.
  • Ability to add multiple values for competition, search volume and CTR e.g. SEMRush and other sources, such as estimates from your own analytics data.
