We are delighted to announce that Version 4.5 of our software went live this morning. Our engineering team has been working towards this release for a couple of weeks now, and we’re really excited about the new features that they’ve been able to get into this deployment.

We’ve been working towards including many of these features for some time, and it will be brilliant to hear what you think about some of these new features.

For the sake of brevity I’ll talk you through what I consider to be the most notable changes in this version. The changes to the Workload management feature will perhaps be the most noticeable, as these new features include the ability to capture, monitor, track and report against tasks across all of your websites.

The new additions to the Workload tab introduce key features of project management tools, meaning that you will not need to come out of Analytics SEO any more to project manage your campaigns in other third party software.

There are a number of new columns by which you can filter the tasks that have been assigned, including the start/due/completed date. A really powerful aspect of this tool is also the columns for estimated/actual/billable time as these mean that you can keep track of the time you are spending on different tasks or campaigns, thus ensuring that you do not under or over-service a client.

This will also help you keep a track of how long tasks are actually taking to be completed, thus meaning that you can more accurately predict how long tasks will take so you can quote for projects really accurately based on real world data.

In a similar vein there is also a new column in the My Sites section ‘Created’ which can be used to filter and sort your sites based on when you added them to the platform.

This version update also includes a number of more technical updates which will enhance the performance of the software; such as new support for rel=canonical and the improved spider link detection which will improve the accuracy and performance of our crawler, that powers many of our components.
