Back in April we attended ionSearch, it was a great event and we picked up loads of really useful tips from the many presentations and panels. We’re already looking forward to next year’s event!
Very generously ionSearch are sharing videos of all the presentations! Here are a selection of some of the talks that we found most useful from the event:
- Ralph Tegtmeier discussed the grey area that exists between black and white hat SEO, and suggested ways of producing a high volume of unique content as quickly (and cheaply!) as possible.
- Dave Synder also delivered a talk about content, but here he discussed the Panda update and the way in which the industry has had to change its approach to content creation and link building, with a lot more emphasis on the quality of these.
- Lee Odden gave an interesting talk about the important role of content throughout the customer buying process. He emphasised the importance of having a well planned content strategy that will really help to drive sales through.
- Tom Anthony gave a great talk around the area of links. He discussed the growing importance of authorship, as well as the increased importance of the quality of links rather than the quantity.
Our own Steve Lock took part in the panel discussion ‘My SEO Toolkit’, and his slides from the discussion are available here. He provided over 50 examples of really useful SEO and Social tools, which we hope you’ll find a really useful resource.
