Tea Time SEO Agenda May 26th – 29th

The last week of May is filed with loads of interesting SEO topics, including What is a Bad Link? and Google Analytics – Key Reports You Need. Make sure to tune in daily at 4pm on our YouTube channel. We start our week of Tea Time SEO on Tuesday, as we use the bank holiday Monday to prepare more interesting live-streams for you.

Tuesday – When GMB and Knowledge Panels Collide

We start this week of Tea Time SEO with Jason Barnard, Andrea Volpini and Paige Hobart giving us an insight into When GMB and Knowledge Panels Collide.

Jason Barnard is The Brand SERP guy and has been in SEO since 1998. He collects Brand SERPs (using the Authoritas API). He is also a digital nomad although this is temporarily on hold. He offer a brand SERP course and hosts a podcast (search “Jason Barnard Podcast”). In his spare time he is a Digital Marketing Consultant.

Andrea Volpini is an Internet Entrepreneur and CEO of WordLift and Insideout10 with 20+ years of world-class experience in online strategies, digital media, and SEO. In 2013 Andrea co-founded Redlink, a commercial spin-off focusing on semantic content enrichment, artificial intelligence, and search.

Paige Hobart is SEO Team Director As Team Director of the SEO department at ROAST. She plays a crucial role in the development and expansion of the ever-growing SEO team. With almost a decade in the industry, Paige has had the pleasure of working within a variety of brands across a wide range of sectors, as well as having the invaluable historic experience of the not-so-white-hat SEO practices of the past.

This Wednesday Dylan Adamek, Laura Hogan and Sam McRoberts will explain to us What a bad link is and how to assess your links in 2020 and answer your questions afterwards.

Dylan is a full time senior SEO analyst who first started in the industry 7 years ago, helping Marie Haynes audit links on large manual action removals. In 2017, Dylan joined Marie Haynes Consulting, the newly formed agency focusing on traffic drop assessments and site quality audits. His education background in finance has helped him develop a love for exploring consumer behaviour through analytics and allows him to remain focused on key conversion metrics when advising clients. Dylan now continues to conduct site assessments and also leads the manual actions teams, helping clients recover from unnatural links penalties.

Laura owns JellyBean, a digital marketing agency based in Birmingham, which focuses on SEO, Digital PR and Paid Search. She’s been in the industry for a decade and has spoken at a number of events over the years. Her passions include trash tv, baking (not banana bread!) and her Beagle, Milo.

Sam McRoberts is the owner of VUDU Marketing, and has been doing SEO and online marketing for over 20 years. He’s done SEO work for companies such as Amazon, HTC, Microsoft, Nokia, Goodreads, and HostGator, as well as for numerous influencers such as Neil Patel, Pat Flynn, Chris Ducker, Steve Kamb, and Matt Kepnes.

Thursday – Content Audits

In Thursdays Epsiode of Tea Time SEO Oli Hearsum and Charlie Williams are talking about Content Audits, giving us an insight and answering your questions after.

Oli Hearsum is a Search Strategist at StrategiQ. He started out as a copywriter, then Paid Social, Paid Search and now SEO. He devised digital strategies for large global brands (such as Unilever), as well as small local businesses.

Charlie is a search veteran who’s worked just about every kind of role over more than a decade in the industry, Charlie runs Chopped Digital, an SEO and content strategy consultancy dedicated to creating better sites and smarter SEOs.Passionate about helping sites take control of their SEO, he helps run local digital marketing events in Oxford including the Unboxed conference. A regular industry speaker, Charlie loves to share ideas on technical SEO, creative user experiences and getting websites seen by audiences.

Friday – Google Analytics – Key Reports You Need

In the last episode this May we have Helen Pollitt on stage taking us through Google Analytics – Key Reports You Need.

Helen is an SEO and analytics specialist with over a decade’s experience in digital marketing; working with clients from start-ups to large multinationals. She has led several agency teams before taking the plunge to form her own SEO consultancy, Arrows Up. Helen has spoken at many marketing conferences about SEO and teaches a masters in Web Marketing and Analytics for the University of Kent.
