We’re excited to announce that we launched version 4.6 of the platform this week and it incorporates several new features to further enhance the reporting capabilities of the platform.
- Improved Task Statuses on the chart components
- Selectable chart types for five of the Progress Charts to give you column and stacked column chart options, in addition to the existing line charts
- Filterable tables now show up underneath each chart
- Year on Year comparisons now available as a selectable date range
We’ve added a 2 minute tutorial video to our SEO Videos section of the site which walks you through these changes – http://www.authoritas.com/search-engine-reporting-tool – but if you’d prefer to read rather than watch, then, by all means, read on!
Improving the Task Status messages:
You’ll now see the system automatically summarising the month on month changes in the Task Status. We noticed that many SEOs were manually adding such comments to their client reports, so thought we’d get the system to add such comments for you – it all helps to save you time in producing your client reports!
Selectable Chart Types:
The system now allows you to choose how you want the data displayed – whether using a normal line chart or a side-by-side column chart or a stacked column chart. Simply make your choice:
and the chart will refresh within a second or two showing the same data but using a different chart type! Cool, eh? :n)
Line, Column & Stacked Column Charts:
We now also include a table underneath most of these charts and these are filterable in the normal way. Filtered tables can be downloaded using the CSV export icon in the top right hand corner of the table.
Year on Year Comparisons:
In response to great demand, we have also included a new date range you can select – "Year on Year". This can be really useful to show long-term progress during a long-running SEO campaign.
And that’s it! (At least, for the time being!). Please keep an eye on this blog for further product developments or follow us on Twitter (@analyticsseo)
